I am Etienne, the Founder and CEO at Accelerate USA. My journey began with a vision that is both simple and profound: to unleash the creative potential of every human on the planet. At the heart of this vision lies a deep-seated belief in the transformative power of higher education, technology and entrepreneurship. Our mission at Accelerate USA is to use high technology to accelerate higher education, thereby empowering individuals in underserved communities. We strive to catalyze local economies through entrepreneurship, fostering environments where innovation, growth and sustainability are not just possibilities but realities. Our solution is not just about providing access to technology; it's about integrating it in a way that reshapes the educational landscape, making learning more accessible, engaging, and relevant to the challenges of the 21st century.
Before founding Accelerate USA, Etienne worked with top tech companies like Intel, AMD, and Nortel Networks, focusing on product architecture, advanced analytics, AI, and optimizing data movement. His technical leadership roles in precision medicine research and as Enterprise Architect enhanced his technical expertise and understanding of aligning technology with business objectives, shaping his approach to solving complex problems with technology.
Holding a PhD in Computer Sciences from the University of Montreal, with a focus on computational optimization, I have always been fascinated by the potential of technology to transform and optimize systems, be it in computing or in education.
